This unique DPM Soft Captured Mechanical Recoil System is designed for pistols equipped with compensators and silencers, where soft recoil is required. It is easy to install on the frame and to reassemble the slide onto the frame.

The system functions through a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs). In some cases, it offers almost double the force at the end of the slide’s full open position compared to the factory OEM spring, acting like a buffer on the slide.
