The external springs are different in length, the long spring is heavy and the short is light so the user can fine tune the pistol on the opening and locking positions (slide on the battery) according to his/hers personal standards.

The kit includes 1 DPM Recoil Mechanism, 3 External Springs and 2 Stainless Steel Washers (1 spare).

Slide on the battery (idle position)

• Short Spring: 8.7 lb
• Long Spring:  9.5 lb
• Total power (slide full open position): 20 lb (approx.)
