DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for SIG P228 & P229
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol.
Included with the system is one stainless steel spring plug and two external springs, allowing the user to fine-tune the weapon to their personal preferences. The longer spring (with more coils) provides greater strength and a higher pound rating than the shorter spring.
The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.
