The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol. 

This kit includes 4 different in length and strengh external springs , for the 2 gray coated springs their wire diameter is 1.0mm and are lighter during the slide travel than the 2 silver coated springs with wire diameter 1.05mm.

Slide in battery

• Gray Short Spring (1.0mm): 6.2 lb
• Gray Long Spring (1.0mm): 7 lb
  
• Silver Short Spring (1.05mm): 7 lb
• Silver Long  Spring (1.05mm): 8.15 lb

Total force -  Slide fully open: 25 lb (approx.)
