1911 Commander 4.25" Bushing Barrel
DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for 1911 Commander 4.25" Bushing Barrel - 6 Configurations
This system operates using a multi-spring, intricate recoil rod assembly consisting of three springs. The third spring, housed inside the rod, controls the final portion of the slide’s travel, preventing it from slamming into the frame.
The package includes two spring plugs and three external springs of varying lengths.
Important: A spring plug must always be installed when using the DPM recoil rod and springs.
The external springs differ in length — the longer spring provides heavier resistance, while the shorter spring is lighter. This allows the shooter to fine-tune the pistol’s behavior during both the slide’s opening and its return to battery.
**As we lead the evolution of recoil reduction technology, products may change versions (new design with different springs, with or without plugs, washers, etc.) without any prior notice.**
